Not sure what the problem is with joining. Did you join using the Follow button (below the Search box) or using the pop-up button (bottom right)? Maybe try whatever method you haven’t attempted and provide feedback. I only added the Follow button yesterday. I have removed and added the Follow button again so this may fix the problem.
